There are an estimated 2000 individuals in existence, in several sites on the eastern Tejon Ranch, between Castaic Lake and the Antelope Valley.〔(Calflora: Distribution map for ''Eriogonum callistum'' )〕〔(The Nature Conservancy )〕〔Reveal, J.
